[VIDEO] Who recognizes the fraudsters, who extorted bitcoins from Poles, paying with counterfeit 500-euro banknotes? The case was reported to the Italian Carabinieri, and criminals search has been started by the detectives from Rutkowski Detective Agency!

A suitcase including 3,5-mln of counterfeit euro was delivered by the aggrieved Poles - Felix and Arek – to the Carabinieri in Milan, yesterday. They also provided them with photos of the fraudsters, requesting their effective prosecution!

The officers of Italian Carabinieri took very seriously the crime to have been reported by the Poles. Respective hearing lasted many hours, for the Italian officers were determined to start formal prosecution of the criminals.

- I have been deceived for the amount of 3,5 mln euro. If I get either the money or the bitcoins back, I am ready to withdraw the notification I submitted  - says Felix.

- I was supposed to receive a commission in the amount of  250 thousand euro for arrangement of sales of those bitcoins. If I get it I am also ready to withdraw my motion – reports Arek

How did it come to this crime?
Bitcoin is a ‘virtual’ currency, which creates a true sensation on the internet. Its value has risen in the past few years from 1 eurocent per unit up to approx. 7000 euro at the moment. Yet, the exchange rate is floating and  its value varies from 6 to 15 000 euro.

Felix, who does  business in many parts of the world, decided to sell 311 bitcoins. Therefore he made contact with Arek, business intermediary, hoping to find a buyer at the best possible price.

Arek , in turn, made contact over the internet with a man called Dominic. He was the one to arrange for him to meet in Milan a man purporting to be a Frenchman named Len Salomon (in the photo a man dressed in black, with a cap)
That "Frenchman" in turn brought a man introducing himself as a Spaniard Pierre (in the photo a man with a beard, in a bright coat).

Within the period from 29.01 to 1.02.2018 there took place several meetings in luxury hotels in Milan and in one of the cafés in there. It was finally determined that on 1st February 2018 at ca. 2 p.m., in the office of the "Frenchman" and the "Spaniard", in one of the tenement houses there would be transferred the amount of 3.5 million euro. And then , at the Westin Felix hotel, there would be accomplished an online transaction of bitcoins transfer.

- I went to their office with them. We together counted the real money in 500 euro banknotes. During that operation there was one more man present introducing himself as Gabriel, who was wrapping - the money recounted by me - into rubber bands and packing them into transparent pouches – reports Felix.

- Everything was packed by that Gabriel into a grey suitcase, which he closed, and we all left the building for a café, where Arek was waiting for us. The suitcase was visible to us all the time - relates Felix.

Then the "Frenchman" called a taxi. There drove up a white car - most likely – Toyota. Because there were 4 seats inside, the "Frenchman" said good-bye and went his way.

- I wanted to take the suitcase inside the car. But Gabriel said that he would put it into the trunk. And so he did – says Felix.

- When we reached Westin Hotel and got out, it was me who took the suitcase out of the trunk. We entered hotel lobby and, in the presence of "Spaniard" and Gabriel, I made electronic transfer of bitcoins for them in order to honestly finalize the transaction. When that happened we said good-bye and they left - relates Filip.

Arek also left the hotel, because 30 minutes later he had to meet the  "Frenchman" to collect his commission for associating participants of the transaction. When he was going to the meeting place he  picked up the phone call from Filip with the information that in the suitcase there were counterfeit money! Instead of the real money Filip counted, there were packed banknotes counterfeits of 500 euro! And, that they probably had replaced the suitcases in a taxi!

- That "Frenchman" gave me a telephone call saying that he would not meet me that day. He said that he "would bring me the money to Warsaw the next day”. But he did not do it and his phone went silent - relates Arek.

The phone of "Spaniard” got silent, too. However, Gabriel’s phone was active and Felix succeeded to get in touch with him in the presence of Arek.

- He confirmed that they had cheated us. He was laughing and saying that it was a secret how they had done it- relates Felix and Arek attests it as a witness.

- I told him to give me back at least either half of the bitcoins or money. Otherwise I would report the whole matter to the Italian Carabinieri. He said that he would forward the message  on to the "Spaniard" and "Frenchman" , but nobody has contacted me so far. They are fully aware that they have deceived me and sneered with Italian law enforcement agencies – adds Filip.

Therefore, yesterday,  Felix and Arek came forward with the false money suitcase to the Carabinieri Unit at Via Copernica in Milano. Officers took the matter very seriously. There started several hours of hearing with the participation of a translator, who was delegated to Carabinieri Unit by the owner of the Detective Agency – Krzysztof Rutkowski, since that owner of one of the biggest and most effective agencies in Europe also received an order to find the criminals and lead to their redressing the damage.

- At the moment, in parallel with the Italian law enforcement agencies, we will be searching for these fraudsters all over the world. If they do not settle up with Felix and Artur, we will do everything to get them behind bars for many years - says Krzysztof Rutkowski.

- Seemingly a virtual transaction actually implicates these criminals in tough realities of using false money. And this is a serious crime to be pursued with all the power of Italian law. Therefore, settlement  with Filip and Arek and finishing this matter is the only way for these criminals to repair the damage they have caused - adds Rutkowski, famous for effective detentions and cooperation with the Police all over the world.

- We are mobilizing our agents in different parts of the world in order to recognize, in their environment, the faces seen in the photos. At the same time we ensure anonymity of each informant - refers Krzysztof Rutkowski.
